So there it is, my new forum for a different feature than "Map Making". It's called Movie Art and has quite a smaller name than mapmakerfool. Here's the site: movieart.boards.netAnd if you wish, I'm letting people retrieve their karma and post count. A custom title will also be added by "MMF Member" so it's related to this board. I'm also thinking of keeping my old moderators. For the media section, it'll be slightly changed for "Partners" and a "Ranking" section, such as MMF but it'll be where people send their videos. About avatars and skin, it'll be only supporting the ones that has something to do with that, so most of the ones about stick arena, smileys-war and ninjakiwi will not be included. Ones outside this zone and that are open to any style will be imported. |

He's making another forum for a different type of community, MMF is centered around map making, while the new one is centered around videos and stuff. I think they're probably just going to be linked in some way or another; either way I'll be on both. |

True, but I think it's more about the name. A site called 'MapMakerFool' would not appeal to someone interested in video production and stuff, while a forum called 'Movie Art' would. At first glance, said potential member interested in video production would leave this site right away, but not the other site.

Well, I think the other forum would only be there for members to join in, but I think this should be the home website.

I guess that's kinda how I look at it anyways, it's like this is the core of it, or where this all started. The other forum I guess branches out of this in a way, just covering different stuff but still being linked back to this one.

Nothing yet; it's not really had time to develop any kind of community or anything like MMF... But wait until it does. Then I'm sure it will become something unique and interesting.

Well to clarify a bit this topic, I'm don't have the interest to "shut down" MMF, like... we have a good project already done and would simply need more people, but the point is that as I started MMF, I don't have any interest on giving it maintenance anymore. My interests has changed and I would prefer video and stuffs.
Right now I've only made the site. I've not made announcements of it or completed the forum. I still don't have 100% of the time left in my hands to work on it right now, since I'm STILL through exams and stuffs.
I just don't get the point of focussing on a board where we're just three and where the main subject is not popular enough to make people come here.
What would be better?
Continue staying here while nothing will ever improve?
Or trying another forum that'll be fixed for community and product share?
Of course going for both is the best of both worlds, but the major point I'm giving here is the name. The name doesn't worth anything and how MMF grew it can be rebuild, unlike the name, as it would not be possible due to unchangeable urls and title.
Why would I link my videos to a place called Map Maker Fool?
Still I was like 14 years old when I created MMF! I didn't had the chance to test everything and know what I'll be the most present for.
And also, if it doesn't work for Movie Art, at least it's going to be an easy place to have all of my videos and stuffs related readable for my chanel.
In overall: I didn't talked about leaving here, but about trying out for something that could be much bigger than MMF.

Makes sense. I have started to get interest in videos and stuff as well, so I think I may like it there if we can get somewhat of a community going. And of course I'll still be on MMF as well. |

Alright!
I've also made you both mods on this one. All there's need to do is some maintenance, which is my part! You can start posting in the few boards in there and bring those threads that you want, and for the rest I'll be fixing everything left such as skins, avatars and boards and starting to put some of my features!
NEW:
I've remade the skins that are used by the three of use, which mean the "Live Eradication - Master FL" which is converted to "Master FL's Colors", the "Spe's Favorite" that has simply been moved and "Diseased Production by Wex" that has been converted to "Suicide's Colors", which has some slight changes in order to make it original and not copyied from Diseased Productions!
So if you ever wish some fixes on your skins, I think you can set them as you wish! Else just ask me and I'll do it.
