Hello and welcome new comer!
I'm F.L., the administrator of this forum which makes sure that the important things runs properly. Now I got to warn you, my grammar and my writing kinda suck. Of course I've changed through the years and I'm better at writing, but sometimes there's places where I completely forgot to change the bad writing I did long ago. If you ever find one, say it to me! I'll be fixing it and everyone will be happy!

Description:
This is MapMakerFool, a forum where people send their created stuffs and talk with others. This forum isn't like the others, because what we really want here is a sweat environment where people have fun coming here. If you like gaming, recording yourself, doing videos, showing your true skills, creating stuffs, maps, games, or if you're here searching for some nice games, good times with people or simply for a different and interactive forum, you're at the good place. For now, on this message that you're currently reading, there's plenty of things to see: all the stuffs we feature here, important places where you can get all kinds of resources and of course a nice tutorial for newbie at the end of this huge message.

Of course there's always a way to get some competitions through the forum, but the important is to keep the fun through the forum!

- Did you ever faced the "Bans And Warnings" thread?! This thread keeps all the warnings made to a member, so stay in-touch with this thread, it's important to know these stuffs!
-Sometimes, there may be So Many Updates.... At this place, me and some other staffs explain the updates about the site, then some talking about it as you wish, but most importantly where all the updates are posted!
-The Terepatical Thread, where you take care of your own brain and emotions and talk about some important stuffs to you. It is not a place to start yelling bad stuffs, but more for when you're having some difficulties with the community and wish to say it.
-And finally, the Codes thread, where I'm teaching you how to use BB-codes and everything!
The Noob Tutorial:
OK, so for starting up a bit, you need to customize your profile. To do so, there's a little
icon on the header of the forum. Right-Click it, open the link in another window and get a look on your profile. Now you should see every informations about you. Now click the "Modify Profile". From there, you can change your password and these stuffs. There's a "Displayed Name", this is the name we're gonna see when we'll talk with you in the forum. Like me it's saying F.L., but it's in reality admin. Now over there it says you can hide your gender. Then you got your websites and stuffs, but one thing important is your avatar! If you want to have an avatar, I suggest you whichever get a direct link on google or upload it. there's http:\\imageshack.us which is pretty useful, you only need an account, then put the direct link. Resize it as you wish! The personal text is the text just under your avatar. Mines: "Oops! My weapon!!!". Then the signature is what always comes after a post. It's a sandbox area given to the member to put anything that they wish. I suggest that signatures should have a maximum height and length. Just keep it clean! Then after that there's more stuffs, with some explanations.
But the real nice one is the "skins". It's a wide variety of skins you can put to the forum so it'll please your own eyes. I've made many different skins, so browse them and put your favorite one!
So that's about it for your profile, now what's the goal is not only to try making your way through the ranks (which is counted by posts), but also getting medals, being Member of the Month, create your own Avatar and Skin and have it posted permanently so everyone can have it be default, get your map featured and getting yourself enough respect.
